Graco, a division of Newell Brands, introduced its first rotating infant car seat, the SnugRide Turn & Slide, on February 18, 2026. The seat can rotate 180° toward the caregiver and glide on and off the base, a feature that eliminates the need to lift the infant over the seat’s bulk and keeps adjacent seats clear.

The SnugRide Turn & Slide is priced at $349.99 and is available in Noir, Mulberry, and Sandstone. It will be sold through Graco’s website, Babylist, Amazon, Walmart and Target. A travel‑system bundle that pairs the seat with the Modes Nest Stroller will launch in March at $649.99.

Graco’s safety credentials are highlighted by its ProtectPlus Engineered™ certification, which includes rigorous frontal, side, rear, and rollover crash testing, an Anti‑Rebound Bar for rear‑facing protection, and SnugLock Technology for quick installation.

While the product launch is a positive development for Graco, Newell Brands’ broader financial picture remains challenging. In Q4 2025, the company reported a widening net loss and declining net sales, prompting restructuring and productivity initiatives. Guidance for Q1 2026 projects a net loss and sales decline, underscoring the need for new revenue drivers.

The SnugRide Turn & Slide is positioned to address a common pain point for parents and could help Graco capture a share of the growing market for convenient, safety‑focused infant car seats. Kerry Strzelecki, Vice President of Brand Management at Graco, said the seat was designed “by listening closely to parents, making it easier and more intuitive while maintaining the trusted safety and rigorous testing Graco is known for.”

The launch adds a new, safety‑tested offering to Graco’s product line and may contribute to future growth, but its immediate impact on Newell Brands’ financial performance is uncertain given the company’s current headwinds. No market reaction data for the product launch was found in the fact‑check report.
