The expansion is part of Orbital Satcom’s strategy to grow its satellite‑enabled e‑commerce business, which accounts for about 28 % of NextPlat’s total revenue. By partnering with Globalstar, Iridium, and Inmarsat, the new sites will offer wireless and satellite‑based connectivity products to both consumers and enterprises in Latin America, extending the company’s voice, data, tracking, and safety solutions into a region where reliable connectivity is often limited.
CEO David Phipps said the launch “creates a strong foundation for additional expansion” and that the company plans to add more South American markets in the second quarter of 2026.
