Oracle secured an $88 million firm‑fixed‑price task order from the U.S. Department of the Air Force to deliver Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services for the Air Force Cloud One program, a key component of the Department of Defense’s cloud modernization strategy.

The contract, which runs through December 7, 2028, will enable the Air Force to deploy OCI’s secure, high‑performance infrastructure across multiple classification levels and will include Oracle AI Database 26ai, a database that supports secure, autonomous AI workflows for mission‑critical operations.

Oracle’s win reinforces its position as a key partner in the DoW cloud ecosystem and expands its federal presence. The award adds a high‑security, high‑availability workload to Oracle’s portfolio and underscores the company’s multi‑cloud strategy, which is supported by its federal contract vehicles such as the Joint Warfighting Cloud Capability and the System for Award Management.

"Oracle remains committed to the DoW’s mission and our next‑generation database services and analytics, including Oracle AI Database 26ai, are transformative additions to DoW’s Cloud One strategy," said Kim Lynch, executive vice president of Government, Defense & Intelligence. "With this latest contract award, defense customers can confidently advance their most critical missions knowing Oracle’s secure, trusted technologies provide the highest standards of security, compliance, and reliability required to meet their unique operational demands."

The contract comes amid a broader trend of major cloud providers securing significant government contracts. The Air Force recently finalized a $581.3 million contract with Amazon Web Services and also works with Leidos and Booz Allen Hamilton on its Cloud One program, positioning Oracle alongside these competitors in a highly contested market.

Oracle’s recent CMS win, which consolidated and migrated select on‑premises workloads to OCI, further demonstrates the company’s growing footprint in federal cloud services and its ability to deliver secure, high‑performance solutions across a range of government agencies.
