Aeris and Palo Alto Networks have completed a product integration that combines Aeris’ wireless management and connected‑vehicle security capabilities with Palo Alto’s Prisma SASE 5G cloud‑delivered security platform, creating a turnkey solution for protecting IoT devices and connected‑vehicle programs across the wireless edge.

The integration brings Aeris’ IoT Watchtower and wireless management expertise into Prisma SASE 5G, while Palo Alto adds Layer 7 deep packet inspection and data‑loss prevention. Together the solution delivers a single, integrated platform that secures the entire digital‑transformation journey, from enterprise IT to the wireless edge.

Strategically, the partnership expands Palo Alto’s reach into a market that has traditionally been underserved by traditional firewall vendors. It also reinforces Palo Alto’s platformization strategy, which seeks to consolidate the security stack into a unified architecture and to offer a comprehensive, agentless security experience for 5G‑connected devices.

"As the global threat landscape evolves, the wireless edge can no longer remain a siloed environment outside of the enterprise security fabric. By integrating Prisma SASE with Aeris, we aim to deliver a unified security architecture that eliminates visibility and security gaps for wireless devices. This enables protection to fuel innovation, allowing our mutual customers to embrace the benefits of AI and 5G with absolute confidence," said Anupam Upadhyaya, SVP of Product Management, SASE at Palo Alto Networks.

"Aeris' new integration with Palo Alto Networks marks a pivotal shift for global enterprises, moving away from the inefficiencies of managing security and wireless connectivity in isolation. This partnership enables organizations to apply best‑in‑class security uniformly across both IT systems and wireless connected devices, while empowering Aeris' ecosystem of nearly 30 strategic mobile network operator partners to leverage the global trust and proven track record of one of the world's largest cybersecurity providers," said Jon Connet, Chief Product Officer of Aeris.

The integration positions both companies to capture growth in the connected‑vehicle and IoT security markets, which are projected to expand rapidly. Aeris manages over 100 million connected devices and has nearly 30 Tier‑one mobile network operator partners, providing a strong channel for adoption of the joint solution. This milestone marks a significant operational achievement for both firms and signals a broader shift toward integrated security solutions at the wireless edge.
