Patrick Industries and LCI Industries Announce Merger Discussions

PATK
April 18, 2026

Patrick Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: PATK) and LCI Industries (NYSE: LCII) announced on April 18, 2026 that they are in exploratory talks about a potential merger of equals. The companies have not disclosed any definitive terms, and the transaction would require regulatory approval and shareholder consent.

Both firms serve the recreational vehicle, marine, and powersports markets. Patrick brings manufacturing and distribution capabilities, while LCI contributes complementary product lines. Together they would form a larger, more diversified supplier platform, potentially creating cost efficiencies and a broader product offering for customers in the industry.

In the fourth quarter of 2025, Patrick reported net sales of $924 million, up 9% from the prior year, and operating income of $57 million, a 45% increase. The company completed five acquisitions in 2025, investing $122 million in M&A. LCI posted net sales of $932.7 million, up 16.1% YoY, and an operating profit margin of 3.8%. For the full year, LCI’s net sales rose 10% to $4.1 billion, and its operating profit margin improved to 6.8% from 5.8% in 2024.

Investor sentiment has been strong for both companies. LCI’s performance has attracted significant investor confidence, while Patrick’s acquisition strategy and revenue growth have reinforced its market position. The merger could unlock synergies in manufacturing, distribution, and product development, enhancing competitiveness in a consolidating industry.

The potential deal would reshape the RV, marine, and powersports component supply landscape. A successful merger could lead to greater market share, improved pricing power, and a more resilient supply chain, but it will also face regulatory scrutiny and the need for shareholder approval.
