Palladyne AI Corp. has secured a $1 million contract with a major U.S. defense prime contractor to supply a key propulsion subsystem for an existing missile system program, with delivery scheduled for the end of the third quarter of 2026.

The contract adds a recurring revenue stream to Palladyne’s defense portfolio, representing roughly 23% of its trailing‑12‑month revenue of $4.35 million as of September 30 2025 and about 13% of its 2024 revenue of $7.78 million. This underscores the company’s strategy to embed AI and precision‑manufactured parts into long‑life‑cycle weapons systems.

The win aligns with Palladyne’s recent guidance upgrade to $24 million–$27 million for 2026, driven by acquisitions and expanding contract demand. Management notes that the contract will help scale defense manufacturing revenues and supports the broader shift toward vertically integrated defense solutions.

CEO Ben Wolff said the contract "represents a meaningful step in scaling our defense manufacturing revenues and reinforces our strategy of embedding Palladyne AI into long‑lifecycle weapons programs," adding that the company is well positioned to grow annual revenues from this program.

Palladyne has also secured contracts for swarming capabilities with the Air Force Research Laboratory and for spacecraft platforms with Portal Space Systems, indicating a broader expansion across defense and aerospace sectors.
