Primech AI, a subsidiary of Primech Holdings Ltd. (NASDAQ: PMEC), announced a distribution agreement that will bring its HYTRON autonomous cleaning robots to the South Korean market. The partnership names Primech AI as the authorized distributor, giving it responsibility for local marketing, sales, deployment and technical support for the robot platform.

The deal is projected to generate roughly US$4.08 million in revenue over a three‑year period, a figure that represents about 5.5 % of Primech Holdings’ FY2025 revenue of US$74.3 million. The agreement also provides a scalable commercial footprint in one of Asia’s most advanced automation markets, potentially opening further opportunities in the region.

Primech Holdings has historically generated the vast majority of its sales in Singapore. In FY2025 the company reported a 2.5 % revenue increase to US$74.3 million, but it posted a net loss of US$2.2 million, an operating margin of –1.3 % and a gross margin of 23.6 %. The company’s backlog stood at US$120.8 million as of April 1 2025, giving it multi‑year revenue visibility while it continues to pursue recurring, multi‑year service contracts.

Charles Ng, COO of Primech AI, said, “Our expansion into South Korea represents a meaningful step in scaling HYTRON’s international commercialization. With a structured distribution model and a capable local partner, we are well‑positioned to accelerate adoption of our Hytron robots in a market that is highly receptive to automation and smart facility solutions.” The partnership is expected to accelerate adoption of HYTRON’s RaaS model, which lowers adoption barriers by offering monthly contracts rather than outright purchases.

HYTRON is an AI‑powered, autonomous commercial cleaning robot specifically designed for restroom sanitation. In trials it has reduced cleaning times from 45 minutes to 5 minutes per stall, and it received the TechRadar Pro Picks award at CES 2026. Primech AI’s recent $33 million multi‑year institutional service contract with a Singapore university further underscores its focus on recurring revenue streams.

The South Korean distribution deal marks a strategic milestone for Primech AI, expanding its geographic reach beyond Singapore and positioning the company to capture growth in a market that is highly receptive to robotics and smart facility solutions. The agreement adds a modest but meaningful revenue stream, supports the company’s broader strategy of scaling HYTRON’s adoption, and strengthens Primech’s recurring‑revenue pipeline in a high‑growth region.
