PodcastOne has entered a multi‑year agreement with Listener.com, an AI‑driven analytics platform that aggregates audio, video, social, and inventory data across the podcast ecosystem. The partnership will embed Listener.com’s technology across PodcastOne’s key distribution channels—Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and Amazon Podcasts—creating a single, unified view of audience engagement and inventory performance for the network’s 210 shows and 200 top podcasters.

The deal comes at a time when PodcastOne’s financials are under pressure. In the most recent quarter, the company reported $15.2 million in revenue and a net loss of $0.98 million, while a gross profit margin of 9.34% and “going‑concern” language in its SEC filing underscored liquidity and profitability challenges. The partnership is therefore positioned as a strategic response to these headwinds, aiming to reduce manual analytics workloads and accelerate decision‑making across the network.

By integrating Listener.com’s AI intelligence layer, PodcastOne expects to streamline operations, enhance monetization, and deliver greater value to creators, advertisers, and distribution partners. The platform’s ability to unify omni‑channel analytics and inventory performance data is projected to improve sales planning, forecasting, and operational efficiency, ultimately driving higher revenue and cost savings across the network. This aligns with PodcastOne’s broader strategy to diversify beyond ad‑based revenue and strengthen its competitive position against bundled media giants such as iHeartMedia, Spotify, and SiriusXM.

PodcastOne has a history of leveraging AI to drive operational gains. In March 2023 it partnered with Seekr for brand‑suitability scoring, and in November 2023 it joined forces with SourceAudio’s PodcastMusic.com to automate music licensing. The network also moved its hosting to Amazon’s ART19 platform in January 2025 to optimize operations and unlock new monetization streams. With over 1 billion monthly impressions and more than 3.9 billion total downloads, PodcastOne’s scale provides a large data set for Listener.com’s analytics engine to act upon.

"We’re excited to work with Casey and his team. By integrating Listener.com’s AI technology across our platform, we expect to streamline operations, enhance monetization performance, and ultimately deliver greater value to our creators, advertisers, and distribution partners," said Kit Gray, President and Co‑Founder of PodcastOne. Casey Adams, Founder and CEO of Listener.com, added, "Listener.com was built to be the AI intelligence layer for modern podcast networks. By unifying omni‑channel analytics, inventory, and performance data, we help partners like PodcastOne increase revenue through better sales planning and forecasting, while saving time and operational costs by giving teams faster access to answers and insights across their entire network."

The partnership signals PodcastOne’s intent to address current margin compression and liquidity concerns by investing in technology that can unlock new revenue streams and improve operational efficiency. While the deal does not provide an immediate cash infusion, it positions the company to better monetize its large audience base and compete more effectively against larger media conglomerates. Investors will likely view the partnership as a positive step toward stabilizing earnings and expanding beyond traditional advertising revenue streams.
