POET Technologies Inc. will demonstrate its flagship external light source products, Blazar and Starlight, at the Optical Fiber Communications (OFC) Conference in Los Angeles from March 16 to 19, 2026, at booth 339.

Blazar is a hybrid laser that combines wafer‑level integration with high‑power, multi‑channel output, positioning it as a cost‑effective alternative to traditional distributed feedback laser solutions for co‑packaged optics and chip‑to‑chip data links. "Blazar makes AI connectivity much more affordable thanks to an architecture that reduces costs and increases scale and manufacturing efficiency," said Dr. Suresh Venkatesan, Executive Chairman & CEO.

Starlight is a next‑generation engine featuring eight high‑power lasers across multiple wavelengths, designed for integration into standard ELSFP modules and targeting the growing demand for AI‑driven data center connectivity. "Starlight is gaining traction in the industry because of the large demand for more compute power for AI applications," said Raju Kankipati, Chief Revenue Officer.

POET will accept an Elite Score award for its Teralight optical engines at a ceremony on March 16, a recognition from Lightwave Innovation Review that underscores the company’s technological leadership.

Financially, POET reported Q3 2025 revenue of $298,434, up from $3,685 in Q3 2024, and a net loss of $9.4 million versus $12.7 million in the prior year. The company closed a $75 million investment in October 2025 and maintains a war chest of over $150 million in cash with no significant debt.

Strategically, POET is accelerating commercialization of its Optical Interposer platform and expanding its presence in the high‑speed photonics market, leveraging the product launch and award to strengthen its position in AI‑driven data center connectivity.

"Our base thesis has always been to provide a flexible integration platform for cutting‑edge technologies and to scale those advanced solutions rapidly and economically," added Dr. Venkatesan, highlighting the company’s focus on rapid growth in the advanced AI hardware space.

"We are excited to reveal the advancements we have made to our latest version of Starlight that achieves advanced packaging and lower cost needed for chip‑to‑chip data communication links," Kankipati added.
