ParaZero announced a strategic cooperation agreement with Indian aerospace and defense manufacturer BonV Aero, extending its DefendAir counter‑UAS system into India and selected global markets.

The partnership includes a live demonstration of the portable DefendAir launcher for an Indian defense entity, showcasing the system’s 100 % interception success in prior field trials and its rapid deployment capability against hostile drones.

The deal positions ParaZero in a rapidly expanding Indian counter‑drone market, valued at $2.3 billion in 2023 and projected to grow, driven by government initiatives such as "Make in India" and the "Drone Shakti" program. It signals a strategic shift beyond ParaZero’s existing NATO and Western European distribution agreements.

ParaZero’s financials reveal a challenging environment: the company reported a negative gross profit margin of –8.81 % in the last twelve months and an earnings‑per‑share of –$0.94, despite an 80 % revenue growth. The partnership could open new revenue streams, but the company remains unprofitable.

CEO Ariel Alon said, "We are excited to cooperate with BonV Aero and successfully demonstrate DefendAir C‑UAS solution in India, a strategically important market facing growing aerial threats." He added, "We believe that this collaboration strengthens our global footprint in high‑demand regions and underscores the proven performance and reliability of the DefendAir system in protecting ground forces, VIPs and other critical assets. We look forward to deepening our cooperation and exploring additional integration opportunities to address evolving security challenges." BonV Aero co‑founder Satyabrata Satapathy noted, "We are confident it will serve as a valuable asset to India's defence sector" and emphasized the company’s focus on delivering reliable, mission‑critical systems and progressively indigenising this capability for the nation.

The partnership follows a recent order for DefendAir from an Israeli defense entity, underscoring growing demand for the system. While the announcement does not disclose specific financial terms, the collaboration is expected to broaden ParaZero’s customer base and potentially accelerate revenue growth in a high‑growth market.

ParaZero has a market cap of $25.2 million, reflecting its current valuation in the context of this strategic expansion.
