ParaZero Technologies Ltd. and Israeli drone developer XTEND have announced a strategic partnership that will integrate ParaZero’s DefendAir net‑launching system onto XTEND’s Scorpio 1000 drone platform, creating a fully autonomous counter‑drone solution that combines detection, tracking, and net capture capabilities.

The partnership leverages ParaZero’s proven DefendAir technology, which has demonstrated 100% interception success in field trials conducted in July and August 2025 and again in January 2026. XTEND’s Scorpio 1000 platform is known for its high‑speed maneuverability, high payload capacity, and AI‑driven autonomy, making it an ideal host for the net‑capture system.

ParaZero’s 2025 financial results, released on the same day, showed revenue of $1,046,644—an increase of 12.3% year‑over‑year—while the net loss narrowed to $5,412,163, a 51% improvement. The company’s cash position stood at $4.2 million, and it raised an additional $7.5 million in 2026 through a registered direct offering. The earnings announcement was followed by a 4.19% decline in ParaZero’s market value, reflecting investor focus on the company’s ongoing financial challenges rather than the partnership itself.

The collaboration expands ParaZero’s defense footprint into new markets and provides XTEND with a complementary net‑capture capability, potentially accelerating sales and deployment of the combined system in NATO and other international defense programs. The integrated solution positions both companies to capture a growing share of the global counter‑UAS market, which was valued at $2.4 billion in 2024 and is projected to expand further.

"We are proud to partner with XTEND, a leader whose drones are proven in real‑world operations. We believe that this combination strengthens our position as providers of advanced defense solutions and offers military users more effective and safer interception capabilities against drone threats," said ParaZero CEO Ariel Alon.

"As warfare becomes increasingly complex and multi‑domain, the need for agile, scalable solutions that leverage AI‑driven autonomy will only grow. This partnership with ParaZero accelerates our vision of a future where autonomous systems collaborate seamlessly across air, ground, and maritime domains, offering unprecedented speed, precision, and adaptability in real‑time operations," added XTEND CEO Aviv Shapira.

The market reaction to the partnership announcement was tempered by the simultaneous release of ParaZero’s financial results. While the partnership signals a strategic expansion into the counter‑drone defense sector, investors focused on the company’s narrowed loss and capital‑raising activity, leading to a modest decline in market perception. Nonetheless, the collaboration is expected to enhance both companies’ competitive positioning in a rapidly growing defense market.
