Peloton Interactive announced a partnership with Spotify on April 27, 2026, that will make more than 1,400 Peloton instructor‑led fitness classes available to Spotify Premium subscribers worldwide, with no requirement to own Peloton hardware.

The deal places Peloton’s content inside Spotify’s audio and video ecosystem, covering strength training, Pilates, barre, yoga, and meditation. The partnership is intended to broaden Peloton’s audience, drive new member acquisition, and create a new distribution channel that does not rely on equipment sales.

Peloton’s recent Q1 2026 earnings showed a return to profitability, with net income of $14 million and revenue of $551 million, even as paid connected‑fitness subscriptions fell 6% year‑over‑year to 2.732 million. The partnership is a strategic move to monetize its extensive content library beyond hardware sales.

Spotify reported a 12% year‑over‑year increase in monthly active users to 761 million and a net profit of €721 million in Q1 2026. The collaboration aligns with Spotify’s strategy to evolve into a wellness companion, adding value to Premium subscribers.

While the financial terms of the deal and specific conversion targets remain undisclosed, Peloton and Spotify have not listed the countries where the rollout will begin or whether all classes will be available in both audio and video formats. The partnership marks a significant expansion of Peloton’s content distribution and a step toward diversifying revenue streams.
