PayPal has integrated its Payment Links feature directly into Canva, a design platform that serves 265 million monthly users worldwide, allowing creators, entrepreneurs and small businesses to accept payments without leaving Canva’s interface.
The integration positions PayPal to capture transactions from Canva’s creator economy, expanding its merchant network and deepening its presence in social commerce by turning every design into a checkout experience.
PayPal is the official payment partner of Canva Create, a creator‑focused event scheduled for April 16 2026, underscoring the partnership’s strategic focus on monetizing creative work.
Taira Hall, Senior Vice President and Head of SMB Commercial at PayPal, said the integration “reduces friction between inspiration and income, meeting creators at the point of need.” Emily MacDonald, Head of Revenue Platform at Canva, added that the feature “lets users go from a bold idea to getting paid in just a few clicks, without ever leaving Canva.”
The move aligns with PayPal’s broader strategy to become a comprehensive commerce platform, adding a new channel for merchant acquisition and revenue generation while reinforcing its presence in the growing creator economy.
