Rubrik announced a new Microsoft Defender integration and the launch of its Semantic AI Governance Engine (SAGE) at the RSAC 2026 conference in San Francisco on March 23, 2026. The Microsoft Defender integration is designed to reduce the time required to reverse malicious identity changes from days to hours. “Detection is only half of the battle.
