Rubrik today announced the launch of Rubrik Data Protection for Google Workspace, a new solution that secures data stored in Google Drive and Gmail for enterprises that use Google Workspace. The offering is positioned to protect, monitor, and recover data across Google’s cloud services and is aimed at more than 11 million enterprises that rely on Google Workspace for daily operations.

The announcement comes on the heels of Rubrik’s fourth‑quarter fiscal 2026 results, in which subscription revenue grew 50 % year‑over‑year to $364.9 million and total revenue rose 46 % to $377.7 million. Subscription ARR increased 34 % to $1.46 billion, and net new subscription ARR reached a record $115 million. GAAP gross margin expanded to 81.5 % from 77.4 %, while free cash flow for the quarter was $70.1 million, a slight decline from $75.2 million but still strong relative to the prior year. For the full year, subscription ARR hit $1.26 billion, up 53 %, and total revenue reached $1.32 billion, up 48 %.

Bipul Sinha, Rubrik’s CEO, said the company’s accelerated net new subscription ARR growth demonstrates its growing importance in the AI era, adding that Rubrik is moving beyond traditional data security to ‘mission control’ for the AI enterprise. CFO Kiran Choudary highlighted the record $115 million in net new subscription ARR and significant free cash flow, noting that the company is well positioned to continue executing in its large and growing market opportunity in fiscal 2027 and beyond. Chief Product Officer Anneka Gupta emphasized that modern resilience requires a unified view of the entire data estate, and that Rubrik’s collaboration with Google Cloud will empower organizations with a platform that offers trust and complete cyber resilience.

The new Google Workspace protection capability expands Rubrik’s addressable market by tapping the vast user base of Google Workspace, which includes more than 11 million enterprises worldwide. By adding specialized protection for Gmail and Drive, Rubrik strengthens its positioning as a comprehensive data‑security provider and aligns with its broader strategy to become a mission‑control platform for AI‑driven enterprises. The launch is expected to drive new subscription revenue and deepen existing customer relationships, reinforcing Rubrik’s momentum in the growing SaaS data‑protection market.

Investors have responded cautiously, citing valuation concerns despite the strong earnings beat and robust free‑cash‑flow generation. The market reaction reflects a balance between confidence in Rubrik’s execution and the broader context of high valuation multiples in the data‑security sector.
