Royal Caribbean has announced a new 2027‑28 Australian summer lineup that includes the Royal Beach Club Lelepa, a private island destination in Vanuatu, and a return of Quantum of the Seas to Singapore for a 3‑ to 10‑night Asian itinerary.

The Royal Beach Club Lelepa will open in October 2027 and will be part of every South Pacific cruise departing from Sydney on Anthem of the Seas and from Brisbane on Voyager of the Seas. The club offers two pristine beaches, an adults‑only retreat, a family beach, and unlimited island dining and activities, and is scheduled to accommodate 2‑ to 12‑night itineraries.

Quantum of the Seas will operate from Singapore between October 2027 and March 2028, sailing to Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Japan. Onboard attractions will include the RipCord by iFly skydiving simulator, FlowRider surf simulator, and the North Star observation capsule, providing a high‑margin ancillary revenue stream for the ship’s 3‑ to 10‑night itineraries.

Royal Caribbean’s financials underscore the strategic value of these additions. In Q4 2023 net yields rose 18% versus 2019 levels, and adjusted EBITDA margins reached 30%. The company reported $16.5 billion in revenue and $6.0 billion in adjusted EBITDA for 2024, with Q1 2024 net yields up 19.3% YoY. These results demonstrate a strong financial position that supports investment in high‑margin private destinations and new Asian routes, which are expected to generate significant ancillary revenue and tap a large, affluent traveler base.

CEO Jason Liberty said, "Our formula for success – moderate capacity growth, moderate yield growth, and strong cost discipline – is expected to deliver 23% adjusted earnings growth in 2025." VP and managing director of Asia‑Pacific, Chad Grospe, added, "We are excited about bringing thrilling adventures back to Singapore and building on the strong demand we’ve seen over past seasons."

The new private destination and Singapore itinerary reinforce Royal Caribbean’s commercial flywheel, enhance pricing power, and create new growth opportunities for the 2027‑28 season, positioning the company to capture higher yields and ancillary revenue while expanding its presence in the competitive Asian market.
