RadNet announced the acquisition of the outpatient imaging assets of Northwest Radiology Network, P.C., adding six multimodality centers in the greater Indianapolis area. The deal is expected to bring $18 million in annualized revenue and 18 contracted radiologists into RadNet’s network.

The centers are concentrated in Carmel and surrounding communities, and Northwest Radiology’s existing radiologists will continue to staff the sites. RadNet will integrate its DeepHealth AI platform and technology stack, positioning the new locations to benefit from advanced workflow solutions and diagnostic support tools.

This transaction marks RadNet’s first entry into Indiana and the Midwestern market, extending its footprint to more than 400 outpatient centers across nine states. The acquisition aligns with RadNet’s strategy of scaling AI and digital capabilities across its national network.

RadNet’s revenue has grown 11.1% over the past 12 months, approaching $2 billion annually. The $18 million contribution from the new centers represents a meaningful addition to its revenue mix and supports the company’s broader AI monetization strategy.

Steve Forthuber, President and CEO of Eastern Operations, said the partnership builds on the trust Northwest Radiology has earned in the Indianapolis physician community and will allow RadNet to expand its operational scale. Dr. Brian Jellison, CEO of Northwest Radiology, noted that the transaction provides access to cutting‑edge AI technologies and resources that will enhance patient care.

The acquisition also positions RadNet against competitors in the Indianapolis imaging market, where services are highly competitive. Integration is planned to be phased, with technology rollout and operational alignment expected to complete over the next 12 months.
