RadNet has entered into a joint venture with Saint Alphonsus Health System, a division of Trinity Health, by acquiring a majority equity stake in Intermountain Medical Imaging, LLC. The partnership places five outpatient multi‑modality imaging centers in Boise, Idaho—located in Meridian, Eagle, and two Saint Alphonsus medical centers—under joint ownership, with RadNet taking responsibility for day‑to‑day operations.

Under the agreement, RadNet will deploy its DeepHealth AI platform across the five centers. The platform will integrate patient, clinical, and operational workflows, aiming to streamline scheduling, reduce labor shortages, and improve diagnostic accuracy through AI‑powered reporting.

The venture is projected to generate roughly $30 million in annual revenue for RadNet. That figure represents about 5.5 % of the company’s Q4 2025 revenue of $547.7 million and expands RadNet’s national network from 418 to 423 imaging locations, adding roughly 1.2 % to its footprint.

The deal aligns with RadNet’s broader strategy of expanding its geographic reach while deepening its AI capabilities. RadNet’s CEO, Dr. Howard Berger, has highlighted the company’s focus on AI and operational efficiencies, and the partnership positions the firm to leverage DeepHealth in a new region. Norman Hames, President and CEO of Western Operations for RadNet, noted, “This relationship with Saint Alphonsus Health System marks a pivotal moment for diagnostic imaging in Idaho.”

By adding Idaho to its network, RadNet strengthens its presence in the western United States and gains a platform to accelerate the adoption of AI‑driven productivity gains across its centers. The joint venture also demonstrates RadNet’s continued commitment to strategic acquisitions that combine scale with advanced technology, reinforcing its position as a leading provider of diagnostic imaging services.
