LexisNexis Risk Solutions, a unit of RELX, announced a new integration between its Health Intelligence platform and Agenium’s no‑code SaaS platform on April 16, 2026. The partnership builds on an existing alliance and expands the range of data sources available to life insurers, allowing carriers to request, manage, and receive medical records through a single interface and to leverage Agenium’s decision engine to accelerate ingestion of LexisNexis medical data and insights.

The integration embeds Health Intelligence directly into Agenium’s configurable platform, streamlining the application and underwriting workflow. By providing seamless access to electronic health records (EHRs) and related insights, insurers can move from laborious, paper‑based processes to real‑time risk scoring and faster underwriting decisions. The new capability is already live and in production for select life‑insurance carriers, marking a significant step in RELX’s broader AI‑enabled analytics strategy.

"Our innovations are designed to provide the life insurance industry the ability to fast‑track their electronic health record adoption, utilizing our hybrid network orchestration approach with data sourced from national EHR organizations, Health Information Exchanges and directly from applicants' healthcare portals via a consumer‑driven process," said Debra Gangelhoff, VP and General Manager, Life Insurance, LexisNexis Risk Solutions. "As Carriers embrace end‑to‑end digital experiences, including real‑time risk scoring and underwriting decisions at the point‑of‑sale, they will need seamless access to medical data and health insights. Agenium provides a modern integration layer that allows carriers to seamlessly connect their various point‑of‑sale application platforms and their home office new business and underwriting platforms with a single interface to these innovative Lexis Nexis solutions," added Michael Risley, CEO of Agenium.

The launch represents a strategic move for RELX to deepen its footprint in the life‑insurance market, where digital transformation and real‑time risk scoring are becoming critical. By integrating Health Intelligence with Agenium’s platform, RELX positions itself as a key enabler of faster, more accurate underwriting, potentially driving higher customer satisfaction and lower loss ratios for carriers.

The partnership not only expands data access but also aligns with RELX’s broader AI‑enabled analytics strategy, reinforcing its commitment to providing insurers with advanced tools that streamline underwriting workflows and improve risk assessment. As the life‑insurance industry continues to adopt digital solutions, this integration is poised to give carriers a competitive edge in speed and accuracy of underwriting decisions.
