Protiviti, the global consulting arm of Robert Half International Inc., has entered into a strategic alliance with Fieldguide, a leader in agentic artificial intelligence for professional services. The partnership will embed Fieldguide’s AI and workflow‑automation platform into Protiviti’s internal audit, risk‑management and SOX‑testing services worldwide, creating a unified, AI‑powered audit offering that can be deployed across the firm’s global client base.

The integration is designed to streamline evidence gathering, improve documentation quality, accelerate testing cycles and enhance the rigor of control evaluations. Fieldguide’s platform will automate routine data collection and sampling, allowing auditors to focus on higher‑value analysis and judgment. Protiviti executives noted that the technology will enable teams to increase coverage and consistency across global engagements while maintaining the professional oversight that audit demands.

For Robert Half, the alliance strengthens the Protiviti‑Talent Solutions synergy by allowing the consulting firm to deploy specialized contractors sourced through Talent Solutions in audit engagements. The move positions RHI to offer a differentiated, AI‑powered audit service that could drive new revenue streams and improve margin profiles in its consulting segment, a key growth area for the company.

The partnership aligns with a broader industry trend of integrating AI into internal audit processes. Fieldguide recently closed a $75 million Series C funding round and already serves a substantial portion of the top accounting firms. By partnering with Protiviti, Fieldguide gains a major channel to deploy its technology, while Protiviti gains a cutting‑edge tool that reinforces its position as a leader in AI‑enabled assurance services.

"As risk environments evolve at unprecedented speed, internal audit and SOX programs must operate with greater agility and precision. Fieldguide gives our teams a powerful foundation to elevate testing quality, increase coverage, and deliver insights that help our clients navigate risk with confidence. This is not about replacing human judgment; it’s about equipping our professionals with technology that enhances it," said Angelo Poulikakos, Global Internal Audit Capability Leader at Protiviti.

"We are excited to support Protiviti’s vision for the future of technology‑enabled assurance by bringing purpose‑built agentic AI into how their teams execute the work. Together, we share a deep commitment to innovation, quality, and the professional judgment that underpins effective assurance," added Jin Chang, CEO and Co‑Founder of Fieldguide. He also noted, "We built Fieldguide to support the people doing this work, and to solve a structural problem in the profession. This funding allows us to scale a proven model where agentic AI and human experts work together to increase capacity, elevate quality, and build a more sustainable future for audit and advisory."
