RTX expanded its MRO footprint in Singapore by launching full‑overhaul services for the PT6C‑67C helicopter engine and the PW127XT regional turboprop engine, adding a modular test cell to its existing PW100 MRO capacity.

The PT6C‑67C powers the Leonardo AW139 and has already delivered more than 3,000 units with over 10 million flight hours, while the PW127XT powers ATR 42/72 aircraft and has accumulated 300,000 hours; the engine is also slated for the upcoming Deutsche Aircraft D328eco.

The new capabilities are expected to reduce turnaround times for operators across the Asia‑Pacific, strengthening RTX’s aftermarket presence in a high‑growth market and supporting the company’s strategy to grow its commercial aviation support business.

"With the addition of these new heavy MRO services, we are better positioned to meet rising demand from our in‑region customers by offering advanced, localized maintenance solutions and reducing turnaround times," said Anthony Rossi, Vice President of Customer Service at Pratt & Whitney Canada.

RTX’s 2025 sales topped $88 billion and the company employs more than 180,000 people worldwide, underscoring the scale of its global operations and the importance of expanding MRO capabilities in key hubs such as Singapore.
