SAP SE announced today that it will acquire Prior Labs, a leading developer of tabular foundation models (TFMs), in a definitive agreement that is still pending regulatory approval. The transaction, which was disclosed in a press release dated May 04, 2026, will allow SAP to integrate Prior Labs’ advanced TFM technology into its AI portfolio, including SAP Business AI, SAP Business Data Cloud, and the agentic layer with Joule.
