StandardAero (NYSE: SARO) has entered into a General Terms Agreement with global aircraft lessor AviLease to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul services for the CFM International LEAP‑1A/LEAP‑1B and CFM56‑7B engine families.

The deal expands StandardAero’s presence in the high‑margin LEAP segment, where it is a CFM LEAP Premier MRO provider and the only independent CBSA‑licensed shop in the Americas. The agreement gives AviLease access to StandardAero’s independent overhaul capabilities, reinforcing the lessor’s ability to support its growing fleet of next‑generation engines.

StandardAero’s Q4 and full‑year 2025 results—released on February 25 2026—show revenue of $6,062.5 million, up 15.8% YoY, and net income of $277.4 million, a dramatic turnaround from $11.0 million the year before. The new agreement is expected to add incremental revenue, supporting the company’s forecast of high single‑digit to low double‑digit growth in 2026 and profitability in its LEAP and CFM56 programs by the first half of the year.

AviLease, which manages a portfolio of 202 owned and managed aircraft as of December 31 2025, is expanding its fleet with orders for Airbus A320neo family, A350Fs and Boeing 737‑8 aircraft. The partnership will allow AviLease to rely on StandardAero’s expertise for its LEAP and CFM56‑7B engines, aligning with the lessor’s strategy to deliver high‑quality maintenance to its airline customers.

Demand for LEAP and CFM56‑7B MRO services is accelerating as airlines upgrade to fuel‑efficient fleets. The partnership positions StandardAero to capture a larger share of this growing market while providing AviLease with a reliable, independent service provider that can meet the rigorous requirements of source‑controlled fan‑blade repairs.

Olivier Ruffet, Vice President Sales – EMEA for StandardAero, said, “StandardAero is delighted to establish a relationship with AviLease through this new agreement, which will enable our teams of LEAP and CFM56 engine MRO experts to provide responsive support to AviLease and its airline customers. We look forward to supporting AviLease with high quality engine services as it continues its dynamic growth journey over the coming years.”
