Soluna Holdings, Inc. entered into a new equipment supply agreement with Texas‑based Cormint Data Systems to deliver eight modular data‑center units for a 12‑megawatt deployment at its Project Kati 1 campus in Willacy County, Texas.

Each unit is a pre‑fabricated, fully‑integrated module that includes a 2‑MW transformer, power distribution, cooling, monitoring, and racking systems. The modules will be fully tested off‑site before shipment, with delivery scheduled for the first quarter of 2026 and commissioning expected in the second quarter, allowing Soluna to bring the new capacity online ahead of its wind‑powered Bitcoin‑mining schedule.

The modular approach reduces on‑site labor and accelerates deployment, aligning new capacity with the campus’s renewable‑energy supply. By standardizing the design, Soluna can replicate the solution for future phases of Project Kati 1 and other sites in its 2.8‑GW pipeline, improving operational leverage and reducing time‑to‑service.

Soluna’s broader strategy includes expanding beyond Bitcoin mining into AI and high‑performance computing. The company recently raised approximately $32 million in a direct offering, but its recent earnings reports show significant losses and negative adjusted EBITDA, underscoring the importance of cost discipline as it scales its renewable‑powered infrastructure.

"By securing modular, integrated infrastructure for the Kati deployment, we align equipment delivery with available clean power and build in the flexibility to scale as demand evolves," said John Belizaire, Soluna’s CEO. "The repeatable, plug‑and‑play solution from Cormint will enable us to deploy quickly and reliably," added Jamie McAvity, Cormint’s CEO.

Cormint has a proven track record, having designed, delivered, and operationalized over 130 MW of data‑center infrastructure. Its partnership with Soluna reinforces the company’s ability to execute rapid, renewable‑energy‑aligned deployments across its growing portfolio.
