DLT Solutions Secures CMMC Level 2 Certification, Expanding TD SYNNEX’s Federal Contracting Footprint

DLT Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of TD SYNNEX, has secured Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2, a prerequisite for handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal contracts. The certification, announced on January 27, 2026, confirms that DLT’s security controls meet the 110 NIST SP 800‑171 requirements that the DoD now mandates for all contractors handling CUI.

CMMC Level 2 is the first tier that requires a formal assessment by an accredited third‑party assessor. It represents a significant step beyond the basic security posture of Level 1 and is the threshold for many DoD solicitations that began incorporating CMMC clauses in 2025. Full enforcement of Level 2 is expected by November 10, 2025, so the timing of DLT’s certification positions the company to win new contracts before the deadline and to avoid penalties for non‑compliance.

The certification expands TD SYNNEX’s public‑sector portfolio by enabling DLT to bid on a wider array of defense, intelligence, and civilian agency projects that require CUI handling. It also strengthens the company’s competitive positioning against other technology integrators that are still pursuing or awaiting Level 2 certification, potentially translating into higher win rates and larger contract values in the federal market.

Eddie Franklin, Senior Vice President of TD SYNNEX and DLT Solutions, said the achievement “confirms the longstanding commitment of DLT to secure supply‑chain operations across the U.S. public sector. This advanced certification builds on our established public‑sector strengths, complementing our broader federal specializations and deep experience supporting complex government requirements.” Chief Information Officer Kristie Grinnell added that “protecting CUI and meeting national security requirements is now a requirement in federal procurement. Holding our CMMC Level 2 certification gives agencies and partners confidence that DLT is prepared to handle CUI responsibly and at scale.”

The certification not only opens new revenue streams but also mitigates risk for existing contracts that may be subject to future audits. By meeting the DoD’s evolving compliance framework, TD SYNNEX can reduce the likelihood of contract terminations or penalties, thereby preserving its current federal business and positioning itself for higher‑value opportunities. The move also signals to customers and partners that the company is proactively investing in cybersecurity governance, which can enhance trust and differentiate it in a crowded market.

While the certification itself does not immediately translate into revenue numbers, it aligns with TD SYNNEX’s recent Q4 2025 performance, which saw a 9.7% revenue increase to $17.4 billion and an adjusted diluted EPS of $3.83. The company’s continued focus on securing federal contracts complements its broader growth strategy and supports its long‑term financial trajectory.
