SoundHound AI announced a renewal and expansion of its partnership with Casey’s, the third‑largest convenience retailer in the United States. The deal extends the company’s voice‑enabled ordering agents to more than 2,600 Casey’s locations, a number that grew to 2,807 stores as of early April 2026. The technology has already handled more than 21 million guest interactions and processed millions of food orders, underscoring its operational scale.

The expansion is designed to reduce missed orders and long hold times during peak meal periods, allowing Casey’s staff to focus on food preparation and in‑store service. By streamlining the ordering process directly to the kitchen, the partnership improves the customer experience and boosts operational efficiency across the retailer’s network.

For SoundHound, the deal reinforces its position in the restaurant and retail verticals and adds a substantial new customer base. The company’s AI platform is already deployed in over 15,000 locations worldwide, and the Casey’s expansion supports continued revenue growth—SoundHound reported $29.1 million in revenue for Q1 2025 and $55.1 million for Q4 2025, a 151% and 59% year‑over‑year increase, respectively.

"We’re focused on making it easier for our team members to deliver quality and convenience for our guests, especially during peak ordering times," said Sanjeev Satturu, Casey’s Chief Information Officer. "Expanding our partnership with SoundHound AI allows us to scale a proven solution that improves the guest ordering experience and helps our team members operate more efficiently across thousands of locations." Ben Bellettini, SoundHound’s Senior Vice President of Restaurant Sales, added, "Handling more than 21 million customer interactions demonstrates the scale and reliability of our technology." CEO Keyvan Mohajer noted, "As traditional software faces massive AI disruption, businesses are looking to partner with AI natives that can help them achieve success in a new era. This is creating strong tailwinds for SoundHound."

The partnership not only strengthens SoundHound’s competitive positioning against other AI providers but also signals continued demand for agentic, conversational AI solutions in the food‑service sector. With a growing footprint and a track record of high‑volume deployment, SoundHound is well positioned to capture additional market share in the convenience‑retail and restaurant verticals, supporting its broader growth strategy and reinforcing investor confidence in its long‑term trajectory.
