Safe Pro Group announced a new contract modification from the U.S. Government to support its AI‑Edge Processing solution under a previously awarded subcontract, expanding the company’s contractual footprint and adding additional support obligations for its AI‑enabled situational‑awareness platform.
The company did not disclose the financial terms or duration of the modification. Nevertheless, the contract is a key milestone for Safe Pro’s AI segment, which has yet to generate revenue. The company projected over 500% year‑over‑year revenue growth for Q1 2026, driven by initial deliveries under a U.S. Government subcontract for its AI‑Powered Edge Processing platform.
The modification builds on a $1 million subcontract awarded in February 2026, which the company delivered in March 2026 within 15 days of the award. The AI‑Edge Processing solution is designed to process drone imagery for threat detection, including explosives and landmines, and has been tested in U.S. Army exercises such as the Transforming in Contact 2.0 Autonomous Breach event.
Safe Pro remains unprofitable but has more cash than debt, and it completed a $14 million PIPE financing in Q4 2025. The company’s strong backlog and ongoing government contracts position it to convert its AI technology into revenue streams and strengthen its presence in the defense and security market.
