Simpson Manufacturing Co., Inc. held a grand opening ceremony for its new Gallatin, Tennessee facility on Thursday, January 15, 2026. The event marked the company’s latest expansion of its North American production footprint and was announced to the public on January 30, 2026.

The new plant spans 500,250 sq ft and represents a $125 million investment. It currently employs 227 workers and is expected to add 20 additional jobs in 2026. The facility will test and manufacture a range of anchors, fasteners and Quik Drive® fastening tools, expanding Simpson Strong‑Tie’s product portfolio in the region.

Strategically, the Gallatin expansion is designed to increase manufacturing capacity, shorten lead times, and strengthen supply‑chain resilience for U.S. and Canadian customers. By bringing production closer to key markets, the company can reduce tariff exposure and better respond to demand fluctuations in the housing market, supporting its broader goal of maintaining a competitive edge amid a downturn in residential construction.

Mike Olosky, CEO of Simpson Strong‑Tie, said the new site “enhances our ability to serve customers and strengthens our distribution network.” He added that the investment reflects the company’s commitment to operational efficiency and its focus on meeting growing demand for high‑performance building solutions.

Analysts who toured the facility maintained a neutral rating on Simpson Manufacturing, indicating confidence in the company’s execution of its expansion strategy without altering the overall investment outlook.
