Synchrony Financial announced the launch of the MyLowe’s Pro Rewards American Express® Card, a new co‑branded credit card for Lowe’s professional customers. The card extends the existing MyLowe’s Pro Rewards program beyond Lowe’s stores, allowing professionals to earn rewards on any American Express‑accepted purchase while retaining the same 1 % rewards rate and no annual fee. The product is available immediately in‑store and online at Lowes.com/businesscredit.

The launch is part of Synchrony’s strategy to deepen its embedded‑finance footprint with key retail partners. By adding the American Express network, the company provides professionals with broader purchasing power and a seamless digital experience, while strengthening its relationship with Lowe’s and its 46‑year partnership that began in 1979. The card is expected to increase card penetration among Lowe’s professional customers and drive additional transaction volume for Synchrony’s private‑label and co‑brand portfolio.

Synchrony will handle underwriting, servicing, and digital management through its proprietary PRISM platform. The card carries no annual fee and offers the same 1 % rewards rate as the existing program, giving professionals a consistent and valuable loyalty experience across all American Express‑accepted merchants.

"Bringing the Lowe’s commercial co‑brand credit card under our umbrella with Synchrony allows us to deliver a truly seamless experience – simpler applications, smarter digital servicing and flexible financing to help meet the needs of Lowe’s professional customers," said Curtis Howse, EVP & CEO, Home & Auto, Synchrony. "By expanding our card‑issuing relationship with Synchrony and leveraging the American Express Network for this card, we’re continuing to strengthen our offering for small‑to‑medium Pros and deliver value through MyLowe’s Pro Rewards," added Brandon J. Sink, Lowe’s CFO. Will Stredwick, EVP and GM of Global Network Services for North America at American Express, noted, "The card will offer professionals a compelling way to earn rewards, backed by the security and benefits of our American Express Network."

The introduction of the American Express‑based card signals Synchrony’s continued focus on expanding its embedded‑finance strategy and enhancing the value proposition for Lowe’s professional customers. While the launch does not immediately alter Synchrony’s financial statements, it positions the company to capture a larger share of the home‑improvement professional market and to increase transaction volume across its co‑brand portfolio, supporting long‑term growth in a competitive retail‑finance landscape.
