Silver North Resources Ltd. completed a 944‑line‑kilometre SkyTEM312 airborne geophysical survey at its flagship Haldane Silver Project in Yukon’s Keno Hill district. The survey, conducted by SkyTEM Canada Inc., used 100‑metre spaced flight lines with 1,000‑metre tie lines and collected magnetics and time‑domain electromagnetic data, delivering high‑resolution subsurface imaging that will guide the company’s 2026 drilling program.
The data from the SkyTEM survey will allow Silver North to refine drill‑hole targeting, prioritize the order of its 2026 program, and potentially reveal new target areas. By integrating the survey results into its exploration model, the company can increase the likelihood of intersecting high‑grade silver mineralization and reduce drilling risk.
Silver North also confirmed that it retains full ownership of the Tim silver property, adjacent to the Veronica property. Coeur Mining’s written notice that it will terminate its option agreement on May 24, 2026, allows Silver North to keep the Tim site outright. Prior Coeur drilling had identified a carbonate‑replacement deposit (CRD) mineralization system at Tim, and the company believes the property still holds excellent potential for economic concentrations. The retention of Tim, combined with an upcoming airborne survey at Veronica, positions Silver North to amalgamate exploration efforts across the two properties.
The Keno Hill district is a well‑known high‑grade silver jurisdiction, and Silver North’s focus on data‑driven targeting in this area underscores its strategy to build a robust exploration pipeline. Securing the Tim property strengthens the company’s asset base and preserves strategic flexibility for future discoveries or joint‑venture opportunities.
"We eagerly anticipate the receipt of the final data from this survey so we can incorporate it into our 2026 program planning. With much of the drillhole location planning well underway, we anticipate that the data collected will aid in prioritizing the order in which we carry out this year's program as well as revealing new target areas for follow-up work," said President & CEO Jason Weber. "On behalf of Silver North, I would like to thank Coeur and the Coeur Silvertip team for the high quality of work that was conducted at Tim and we wish them the best in their progress at Silvertip. Coeur's work led to the identification that a CRD mineralizing system had been active at Tim, and we feel that there remains excellent potential to find economic concentrations of mineralization. We believe that with the upcoming airborne geophysical survey at our adjacent Veronica Property, we can amalgamate our exploration approach for the two properties."
