Timken announced the acquisition of the assets and related businesses of Bijur Delimon International (BDI), a North Carolina‑based designer and manufacturer of automated lubrication systems, on March 18 2026. The deal adds a company that is expected to generate more than $60 million in sales in 2026 to Timken’s portfolio.

The transaction was funded with cash on hand and existing committed facilities, with no additional debt or equity issued. BDI’s expected 2026 sales represent a significant contribution to Timken’s growth strategy, particularly in rail, power generation and mining, where BDI already has strong customer relationships.

"The acquisition of Bijur Delimon aligns with our near‑term strategic priority to accelerate growth in key market verticals," said Timken President and CEO Lucian Boldea. "BDI elevates our existing capabilities, deepens our presence in attractive market sectors and regions, and creates meaningful synergy opportunities that strengthen our ability to serve customers more completely as one Timken."

The acquisition expands Timken’s automated lubrication systems platform, which the company has been developing since 2013. Management highlighted that the market for automated lubrication is benefiting from strong secular tailwinds, including a shortage of skilled labor and shifting demographics, which should support continued demand for BDI’s products.

The deal value was not disclosed, but the transaction is expected to enhance Timken’s competitive position and provide a platform for future growth in high‑margin industrial segments.
