ReposiTrak (NYSE: TRAK) has expanded its Traceability Network (RTN) by onboarding 13 plant‑based food manufacturers, bringing the total number of network participants to 1,200. The new members will use RTN to exchange FDA‑required Key Data Elements (KDEs) with retailers and food‑service customers, enabling end‑to‑end traceability without manual scanning or changes to existing warehouse management systems.

The expansion comes on the back of a strong first‑quarter fiscal 2026 performance. Revenue rose 10% to $6.0 million, driven by a 12% increase in recurring subscription revenue and a 5% lift in professional services. GAAP net income climbed 9% to $1.8 million, and recurring revenue now represents 99% of total revenue, underscoring the company’s shift toward a subscription‑based model that delivers predictable cash flow.

Randy Fields, Chairman and CEO, said the move “addresses the complexity of plant‑based supply chains, which demand higher precision and consistency in traceability data. By scaling our automated onboarding tool—often referred to as the ‘Wizard’—we can onboard new customers with minimal human intervention, accelerating time to value.” Fields added that the new members will help ReposiTrak meet the FDA’s FSMA 204 deadline, which requires traceability for all food products by January 20, 2026.

The addition of these manufacturers strengthens ReposiTrak’s position as the world’s largest operating traceability network and reinforces its competitive moat. Retailers are increasingly demanding comprehensive traceability, and the company’s automation capabilities reduce implementation costs for customers. The expansion also opens cross‑sell opportunities across ReposiTrak’s compliance, supply‑chain, and traceability product families, potentially boosting recurring revenue streams.

While the announcement did not trigger a significant market reaction, it signals continued momentum for ReposiTrak’s growth strategy. The company’s focus on regulatory compliance and automation positions it well to capture the expanding plant‑based market, which is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 15% over the next five years.

Overall, the network expansion demonstrates ReposiTrak’s ability to scale rapidly, deepen customer relationships, and capitalize on regulatory tailwinds, reinforcing its leadership in the food traceability space.
