Townsquare Media announced a strategic digital‑advertising partnership with Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE), a Denver‑based sports and entertainment company that owns four local radio stations—KXKL “Kool 105,” KIMN “Mix 100,” and the Altitude Sports siblings KKSE‑AM and KKSE‑FM. The alliance expands Townsquare’s Media Partnerships division, which launched in 2024 and provides a white‑label programmatic platform, by adding 31 incremental markets outside the company’s existing footprint.
Under the deal, Townsquare will share its Ignite data‑driven platform, strategy and execution capabilities with KSE, enabling the latter to scale its digital offering and deliver more measurable results for its clients. KSE will launch a new digital solutions arm called “KSE Digital” as part of the partnership, positioning the two companies to capture growth in the Denver market and beyond.
The partnership comes as Townsquare reports a mixed Q4 2025 earnings picture. Net revenue fell 9.6% YoY to $106.5 million, while earnings per share were $0.05 versus an estimate of $0.11. Digital advertising revenue grew 2% YoY, representing 55% of total net revenue, and the Townsquare Interactive segment achieved its highest profit margin of 33.6% in 2025. In Q1 2025, digital advertising revenue increased 7.6% YoY and subscription digital marketing solutions grew 4.2%, with digital segments contributing 57% of total net revenue and 62% of segment profit.
Management highlighted the strategic fit of the partnership. Shaun Collignon, Chief Revenue Officer of Townsquare Ignite, said, “KSE Radio / Kroenke Sports & Entertainment represents some of the most valuable and engaged audiences in media today. By integrating Townsquare Ignite’s data‑driven platform, strategy and execution capabilities, we’re enabling KSE to scale its digital offering and drive stronger, more measurable results for its clients. This partnership is a powerful example of how media companies can evolve and win in a performance‑driven marketplace.” Joel Clary, SVP/General Manager of KSE Radio, added, “We are very excited to partner with Townsquare and launch our new Digital Solutions arm, KSE Digital. After exhaustive research and from personal experience working with Townsquare Ignite for 6+ years, I concluded Townsquare Ignite is absolutely best‑in‑class and fully committed to digital growth. They have a truly outstanding team and we couldn’t be happier for the prospects of our partnership.” Bill Wilson, CEO of Townsquare Media, noted, “In 2026 full year, we expect our digital advertising in total to be up high single digits versus 2025’s full year plus 2% growth.” He also emphasized the company’s transformation, stating, “By now, it should be very clear that Townsquare has transformed from a legacy broadcast company into a digital‑first local media company, and that our digital….”
The partnership is expected to accelerate Townsquare’s digital revenue growth, with the Media Partnerships division projected to double from $6 million in 2025 to $12 million in 2026. The deal also supports the company’s broader “Digital First Local Media Company” strategy, expanding reach into new markets while maintaining a $0.20 per share dividend that yields roughly 11%. As of April 15 2026, Townsquare’s market capitalization stood at about $111 million, reflecting investor confidence in its digital transformation.
Overall, the alliance positions Townsquare to leverage KSE’s local radio audience and Townsquare’s programmatic expertise, creating a scalable digital advertising platform that aligns with the company’s growth strategy and strengthens its competitive position in the evolving media landscape.
