Tigo Energy will exhibit at the KEY 2026 – The Energy Transition Expo in Rimini, Italy, previewing its new active commissioning software. The company announced its participation on February 26.

The software, part of Tigo’s open‑architecture platform, is engineered to support installers across the entire jobsite workflow, from basic solar‑only installations to advanced solar‑plus‑storage configurations. It incorporates more than 20 core enhancements that streamline commissioning, reduce truck rolls, and lower uncertainty for installers.

Italy is projected to add 6 to 8 gigawatts of new solar capacity in 2026, creating a sizable opportunity for installers. By providing real‑time monitoring and automated fault detection, the new software is positioned to help installers scale with confidence and capture a larger share of the growing market.

In addition to the software, Tigo will highlight its TS‑4 Flex MLPE products, which support high‑power modules up to 725 W and 22 A short‑circuit current, and deliver more than 7.6 % reclaimed energy in residential systems. The company will also showcase expansions to its Installer Loyalty Program, including new eligibility tiers, enhanced data support, and upgraded co‑branding opportunities.

Tigo also announced a $15 million registered direct offering of common stock at $3.00 per share, expected to close on February 26. The proceeds are intended to strengthen the company’s balance sheet and fund continued growth.

Mirko Bindi, senior vice president sales EMEA and managing director Europe, said: “Installers play the central role in shaping how the energy transition takes form on the ground, and the more efficiently they can do their work, the more it contributes directly to the success of the solar industry at large. This new approach to installation and commissioning is another way in which Tigo acknowledges the installer as central to the solar industry, and we are delighted to offer these concrete benefits that reward a long‑term mindset, technical expertise, and reinforce a shared commitment to high‑quality installations. Lasting innovation happens when manufacturers and installers work as true partners, which is what Total Quality Solar is all about.”
