Uranium Energy Corp. (UEC) has begun production at its Burke Hollow in‑situ recovery (ISR) uranium mine in Corpus Christi, Texas, following approval from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
The Burke Hollow site is the second of UEC’s hub‑and‑spoke ISR platforms, after the Christensen Ranch site in Wyoming, and represents a significant expansion of the company’s domestic uranium production capacity.
The new platform supports UEC’s broader strategy of increasing domestic uranium supply and strengthening its vertically integrated operations, which include extraction, processing, and potential enrichment feedstock production.
