Voya Investment Management announced a partnership with Pomona Capital to digitize access to the Pomona Investment Fund (PIF) through Templum’s private‑markets technology platform. The collaboration introduces an “Invest Now” feature on the PIF landing page, allowing eligible investors to complete onboarding, execute subscription documents, and place orders through a secure, white‑labeled portal.
PIF is a secondary‑focused, registered private‑equity vehicle that launched in 2015. As of December 31 2025, the fund had $1.9 billion in assets under management and more than 13,000 individual investors. The fund has delivered a 10‑year annualized net return of 13.3 % since inception.
Templum’s platform, Templum One, provides a seamless research‑to‑transaction experience. The new “Invest Now” feature streamlines the entire investment workflow, from due‑diligence and compliance checks to electronic execution and post‑trade reporting, while maintaining regulatory oversight and operational discipline.
The partnership aligns with Voya’s broader strategy to expand its private‑markets offering. Voya’s investment‑management segment managed $360 billion in assets as of December 31 2025, generated $72 million in pre‑tax adjusted operating earnings in Q4 2025, and recorded record net inflows of $15 billion. The firm’s Q4 2025 earnings saw an EPS miss of $1.94 versus an estimate of $2.09, but revenue beat expectations at $2.11 billion versus a forecast of $1.99 billion. The new digital platform is positioned to accelerate growth in private‑markets exposure for individual investors and support Voya’s recent partnership with Blue Owl Capital in July 2025, which introduced private‑markets investments into defined‑contribution retirement plans.
"This initiative reflects a broader industry shift toward the digitization and democratization of private markets—while upholding strong regulatory oversight and investor protections. The collaboration arrives at a pivotal moment as investors seek diversification and firms seek scalable ways to reach new audiences. This is where Pomona Capital and Voya Investment Management come in, delivering a better investment experience with strong investment products across our connected partner network," said Chris Pallotta, CEO of Templum. "As investors look to diversify their portfolios, access to high‑quality private market strategies must evolve with them. Our collaboration with Templum leads to an improved experience for everyone involved in the investment process," added Michael Granoff, Founder and CEO of Pomona Capital.
The partnership reflects a broader industry trend toward democratizing private‑market access. By leveraging Templum’s technology, Voya and Pomona Capital can offer private‑equity exposure with greater efficiency, transparency, and compliance, potentially attracting a larger base of individual investors and strengthening Voya’s competitive position in the private‑markets space. The move also signals Voya’s commitment to expanding its product suite beyond traditional retirement and wealth‑management offerings, positioning the firm to capture growing demand for private‑market exposure in defined‑contribution plans and other client segments.
