Verra Mobility Corporation announced a $160 million, 10‑year agreement with the Hawaii Department of Transportation to expand its red‑light and speed enforcement program statewide. The deal will increase the number of dual‑enforcement cameras from 17 to 187, covering all major islands and creating a comprehensive automated enforcement network.

The contract makes Verra the first company in the United States to operate a full‑state automated enforcement program, giving it a unique competitive advantage and a new recurring revenue stream. The long‑term, high‑value contract is expected to contribute significantly to the Government Solutions segment and support the company’s growth trajectory.

Verra’s MOSAIC platform will underpin the expanded program, and the company’s prior experience in Hawaii—where a pilot phase reduced daily red‑light violations by 62% and major crash rates by 76%—provides a proven safety record. The new contract positions Verra to pursue similar large‑scale agreements in other states.

Edward Tiedje, vice president of Government Solutions, said, "Hawaii has shown immense leadership in elevating the safety needs of the entire state. They've executed strategically and quickly in order to prioritize road safety. Verra Mobility is proud to work with the entire HDOT team on such a groundbreaking program."

Investors responded positively to the announcement, reflecting confidence in the long‑term revenue stream and the company’s expanding presence in government contracts.
