Vuzix received a six‑figure follow‑on order for its M400 smart glasses from AcuraFlow, bringing AcuraFlow’s total deployment of Vuzix smart glasses to more than 900 units across its North American customer network. This order underscores growing demand for hands‑free, AI‑enabled workflows in manufacturing and energy operations.
The order is part of Vuzix’s broader strategy to shift from branded hardware to high‑margin OEM waveguide and component supply. The company’s recent Q4 2025 results showed revenue of $2.2 million, up from $1.3 million in the same quarter a year earlier, and a net loss of $0.12 per share versus $0.16 a year earlier. The six‑figure order provides a tangible revenue boost and validates Vuzix’s manufacturing and engineering capabilities in the enterprise market.
"Vuzix smart glasses are well‑suited to delivering the productivity improvements our customers need to remain competitive. When combined with software platforms such as TeamViewer Frontline and similar tools, they have become a proven option for organizations aiming to optimize warehouse operations," said Lucas Reed, Innovation Manager at AcuraFlow. "AcuraFlow has been a strong partner for Vuzix for several years. Follow‑on orders like this, combined with an installed base of over 900 units, demonstrate continued expansion of enterprise smart glasses deployments across multiple industries and use cases," added Paul Travers, President and CEO of Vuzix.
The order follows a series of recent agreements that broaden Vuzix’s reach. In February, the company launched Vuzix Solutions, a portfolio of turnkey enterprise smart glasses deployment kits, and a Pick & Pack Validation Program to accelerate warehouse deployments. It also secured a reseller agreement with Movora for the veterinary medical market and follow‑on orders from a global online retailer for M400 smart glasses and initial OEM orders for the Ultralite Pro platform. Additionally, a six‑figure follow‑on production order for waveguide‑based AR display systems was received from a major defense customer.
Vuzix’s management expects its OEM and waveguide businesses to become the primary growth drivers by the end of 2026, with OEM/waveguide revenue projected to surpass branded enterprise revenue. The company’s strong cash position and ongoing cost‑control initiatives position it to capitalize on the expanding demand for AI‑enabled, hands‑free solutions in industrial settings.
