V2X, Inc. (NYSE: VVX) has secured a seat on the Defense Microelectronics Activity’s Advanced Technology Support Program 5 (ATSP5), a $25 billion multiple‑award IDIQ vehicle that will run through December 2035. The award gives V2X access to federal and state agencies for engineering development, prototyping, testing, integration, and limited production of embedded systems, network‑centric warfare systems, and large‑scale integrations.

The ATSP5 vehicle is designed to modernize aging equipment, accelerate the deployment of AI‑optimized systems, and support autonomous system integration for the U.S. warfighter. By joining the program, V2X expands its government contracting footprint and positions itself to win task orders that could generate significant revenue over the next decade.

V2X’s recent financial performance underscores the strategic fit of the award. In Q3 2025, the company reported record revenue of $1.17 billion, up 8 % year‑over‑year, and adjusted diluted EPS of $1.37, up 6 % year‑over‑year. The earnings beat analysts’ expectations by $0.24 per share, driven by strong demand in its core engineering and digital integration services and disciplined cost management that preserved margins.

The company’s CEO, Jeremy C. Wensinger, said the ATSP5 seat “enables V2X to lead in transformative engineering solutions and positions the firm at the forefront of defense modernization.” CFO Shawn Mural highlighted that the Q3 results reflected “continued demand for our solutions and a focus on execution,” noting that the revenue growth was supported by a mix of government and commercial contracts.

While the ATSP5 award does not guarantee immediate revenue, it places V2X in a competitive pool of awardees that includes Draper, General Dynamics, HII, L3Harris, Leidos, Leonardo DRS, Northrop Grumman, and RTX’s Raytheon unit. Task orders will be awarded competitively, but the program’s long‑term horizon and the company’s proven track record in embedded systems give V2X a strong chance to secure work.

The award also complements V2X’s recent portfolio of contracts, such as a $4.3 billion deal for the U.S. Air Force T‑6 aircraft and partnerships with Google Public Sector and Amazon for AI and cloud solutions. Together, these initiatives reinforce the company’s strategy to deliver data‑enabled mission solutions and accelerate the adoption of emerging technologies across defense programs.
