WaterBridge Infrastructure LLC has opened a season to solicit commitments for the construction of the Speedway Phase II Pipeline, a 500,000‑barrels‑per‑day (bpd) gathering and transportation project that will double the company’s existing Speedway Pipeline capacity. The open season began at 8:00 a.m. CDT on February 23, 2026 and will run until 5:00 p.m. CDT on April 20, 2026.

The Phase II pipeline will transport produced water from Eddy and Lea counties in New Mexico to out‑of‑basin pore space owned by WaterBridge’s affiliate, LandBridge Company LLC, in the Central Basin Platform. By adding this incremental throughput, WaterBridge will expand its ability to serve the growing demand for responsible produced‑water handling in the Northern Delaware Basin, reinforcing its position as the largest pure‑play integrated water infrastructure company in the United States.

The expansion is driven by a sharp rise in drilling activity and the resulting volume of produced water in the Delaware Basin, coupled with regulatory pressure to manage water responsibly and the scarcity of suitable disposal options. WaterBridge’s integrated model—gathering, transporting, recycling, and disposing of produced water—positions it to capture a larger share of the market as operators seek reliable, long‑term contracts. The project’s completion will enable the company to meet the projected 1 million bpd capacity target, supporting continued growth in the region.

Michael “Chop” Reitz, President and Chief Operating Officer, said the Speedway Phase II Pipeline is an important step in expanding capacity to serve the growing need for responsible produced‑water handling solutions in the Northern Delaware Basin. He added that WaterBridge remains committed to being the flow‑assurance provider of choice for its E&P customers through large‑scale infrastructure projects that support continued growth in the region.

WaterBridge completed its initial public offering in September 2025 and reported a trailing‑12‑month revenue of $750 million as of September 30, 2025. The company’s financial strength and recent capital raise provide the resources needed to advance the Phase II project and maintain its leadership position in the midstream water market.
