Wyndham Hotels & Resorts announced a multi‑property agreement with the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma that adds four casino‑resort properties to its portfolio. The deal brings nearly 2,000 rooms, including the flagship Choctaw Casino & Resort‑Durant, which will join the Wyndham Grand brand, and three additional properties—Choctaw Landing Casino & Resort‑Hochatown, Choctaw Casino & Resort‑Pocola, and Choctaw Casino & Resort‑Grant—branded under the Trademark Collection by Wyndham.

The flagship Durant property alone features more than 1,600 rooms and suites, a gaming floor with over 7,400 slot machines and 100 table games, a 3,000‑seat entertainment venue, and more than 40 restaurants and bars. The smaller Hochatown resort adds 100 rooms and a 600‑slot‑machine casino, while Pocola and Grant provide additional lodging and gaming capacity, bringing the total room count to just under 2,000 across the four sites.

Wyndham’s strategy is to diversify its portfolio with higher‑fee, experience‑focused properties that generate substantial ancillary revenue. By affiliating with these casino‑resorts, the company expands its fee‑based income and enhances the value proposition for its 120 million‑member Wyndham Rewards program, offering new destinations for earning and redeeming points in a rapidly growing gaming market.

Geoff Ballotti, President and CEO of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, said the partnership “represents everything today’s travelers are asking for—exciting destinations, distinctive experiences and more meaningful ways to connect with the places they love.” Gary Batton, Chief of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, added that the agreement “elevates the hospitality experience by combining Choctaw’s signature service, culture, and entertainment with the global recognition, loyalty benefits, and travel network of one of the world’s largest and most respected hotel companies.”

Oklahoma’s tribal gaming sector is among the fastest‑growing markets in the United States, with tribal gaming generating a record $43.9 billion in revenue nationwide in 2024. The partnership positions Wyndham to capture a share of this growth while maintaining an asset‑light, franchise‑only model that limits capital expenditure and risk for the franchisor.

The four properties will be integrated into Wyndham’s booking channels over the coming weeks, expanding the company’s presence in the region and reinforcing its commitment to quality over quantity in its brand portfolio. The deal underscores Wyndham’s confidence in the long‑term sustainability of tribal gaming and its ability to deliver differentiated experiences to travelers seeking entertainment‑driven stays.
