WISeKey International Holding AG announced that it will relocate its Geneva headquarters to the Pont‑Rouge business district in August 2026, moving into a 100,000‑square‑meter low‑carbon innovation hub that already hosts firms such as EY, KPMG and Westhive.
The new location will house the Geneva Quantum Center of Excellence, a flagship initiative that aims to position Geneva as a global reference for applied, secure, and industrially deployable quantum technologies. The center will integrate quantum computing, post‑quantum cybersecurity, secure semiconductors, space technologies, robotics and AI into a unified ecosystem.
By relocating to Pont‑Rouge, WISeKey signals its commitment to expanding its quantum and cybersecurity capabilities and to leveraging the district’s advanced infrastructure and talent pool. The move supports the company’s broader convergence strategy, which seeks to integrate semiconductors, satellites, blockchain and digital identity into a single, interoperable ecosystem that can generate recurring revenue streams.
Financially, WISeKey reported H1 2025 revenue of $5.3 million, flat year‑over‑year, and a net loss of $22.3 million. For FY 2025 the company guided revenue of $18 million to $21 million and a net loss of $30 million to $40 million. WISeKey also highlighted a $170 million revenue pipeline for 2026‑2028 and a substantial cash balance that supports its strategic investments.
SEALSQ Corp, a WISeKey subsidiary, will play a central role in the Quantum Center of Excellence, focusing on post‑quantum secure semiconductors. The SEALSQ Quantum Fund, with over $100 million, will fund the development of these technologies.
The relocation aligns with European technological sovereignty goals, positioning Geneva as a global hub for quantum‑resilient security and addressing the growing threat posed by quantum computing to current encryption standards.
