WISeKey International Holding AG and its satellite arm WISeSat.Space announced on February 5 2026 that they have signed a commercial agreement with French aerospace company Latitude to assess the launch of WISeSat’s planned secure IoT satellite constellation.

The partnership will use Latitude’s Zephyr Launcher, a small orbital rocket capable of carrying up to 200 kg to sun‑synchronous orbit, to deploy the 100‑satellite constellation WISeSat aims to field by 2029. The agreement provides a dedicated, responsive launch service that aligns with WISeKey’s goal of delivering secure, low‑latency connectivity for environmental monitoring, industrial asset tracking and critical infrastructure management.

By securing a launch partner that can deliver frequent, mission‑compliant deployments, WISeKey positions its satellite business to scale faster and to offer a sovereign, quantum‑resistant communication network for its customers. The deal also strengthens WISeKey’s broader convergence strategy, tying together its post‑quantum chips, secure identity platform and blockchain tokenization into a single, globally connected ecosystem.
