XCharge (XCHG Limited, Nasdaq: XCH) announced on March 3 2026 that it has signed a multi‑year framework agreement with German energy giant EnBW. The agreement, which was executed on February 24 2026, will see EnBW procure XCharge’s 400 kW C7 Ultra‑Fast Chargers and collaborate on joint hardware and software development, giving EnBW exclusive access to XCharge’s future product developments.

The partnership builds on a two‑year field‑test program that began in December 2025. During the test, ten XCharge C7 Ultra‑Fast Chargers operated at four EnBW sites and completed more than 20,000 charging sessions with no reported reliability issues, validating the performance and durability of XCharge’s high‑power hardware.

For XCharge, the deal marks a significant expansion into the German market, the largest fast‑charging network in Europe. The company has recently opened dual headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, and Austin, Texas, and plans to establish a production site in Valencia, Spain, to manufacture charging stations for the European market locally. XCharge’s first‑half 2025 revenue fell 38.2% from the same period in 2024, and the company posted a net loss of $7.3 million, underscoring the importance of the EnBW partnership for generating recurring revenue and strengthening its competitive moat.

EnBW’s CEO for e‑mobility, Martin Roemheld, said, "Against the backdrop of global uncertainties and volatile supply chains, it is becoming increasingly important to diversify the supplier base. This broader base will allow us to secure the quality of our fast‑charging network in the long term and bolster our resilience at the same time." He added, "Our aim is to create an even more reliable and convenient fast‑charging experience for our customers that simply works on a daily basis." The partnership supports EnBW’s goal of expanding its network to 20,000 fast‑charging points by 2030 from its current 8,000+ points.

XCharge’s Head of Europe, Albina Iljasov, commented, "The partnership with the German market leader is an important milestone for us. The positive results from the field test confirm the reliability and performance of our charging stations. As part of the European charging infrastructure ecosystem, we are therefore particularly looking forward to working with EnBW so that we can continue to promote e‑mobility."

The agreement is expected to generate substantial recurring revenue for XCharge and position the company as a preferred supplier for EnBW’s rapidly expanding network, while providing EnBW with a reliable, high‑power charging solution that supports its long‑term resilience and growth strategy.
