XPeng delivered 31,011 vehicles in April 2026, a 13 % month‑over‑month increase from March. The figure represents a 11.51 % decline compared with April 2025, underscoring a broader year‑over‑year slowdown even as the company’s core models continue to attract buyers.

Demand for the mid‑price Mona M03 and the premium P7+ remained strong. By mid‑April, cumulative Mona deliveries had surpassed 250,000 units, while the P7+ has maintained high order volumes since its November 2024 launch.

XPeng’s Vision‑Language‑Action 2.0 autonomous‑driving system, rolled out in March, has driven a 44.7 % month‑over‑month reduction in the average time customers take to decide on a purchase after a test drive. Test‑drive satisfaction rates also rose, indicating that the new system is effectively converting interest into sales.

The GX SUV, the company’s first full‑size flagship built around its cross‑domain technologies, was launched on April 15. Positioned to compete with premium models such as the Huawei‑backed Aito M9, Li Auto L9, and Nio ES8, the GX signals XPeng’s push into higher‑margin segments.

On April 7, XPeng and its European partner Magna completed the roll‑off of the first locally produced P7+ from Magna’s Graz, Austria plant. This milestone expands XPeng’s manufacturing footprint in Europe and supports its strategy to diversify beyond China.

Analysts responded with mixed views. Some downgraded the stock to neutral, citing the year‑over‑year delivery decline, while others upgraded to buy, highlighting the positive impact of VLA 2.0 and the strategic significance of the GX launch and European production expansion.
