Evolv Technologies Holdings, Inc. (EVLV) entered into a multi‑year subscription agreement and marketing partnership with the University of Washington Athletic Department, installing its Express® Gen2 weapons‑detection systems at Husky Stadium and Alaska Airlines Arena.
The partnership designates Evolv as the “Official Fan Screening Partner” of UW Athletics. Husky Stadium, a 70,138‑seat football venue, and Alaska Airlines Arena, a 9,268‑seat basketball and gymnastics arena, bring two high‑traffic venues to Evolv’s portfolio of more than 8,000 systems worldwide.
The deal adds a large, recurring subscription to Evolv’s growing institutional customer base, reinforcing the company’s strategy of converting hardware sales into long‑term service contracts. The new contract is expected to contribute to the company’s 2026 revenue guidance of $172‑$178 million and its annual recurring revenue (ARR) target of $145‑$150 million.
Evolv’s Q4 2025 results—$38.5 million in revenue, up 32 % year‑over‑year, and $120.5 million in ARR—illustrate the momentum behind the subscription model. Management highlighted that the partnership with UW Athletics demonstrates the scalability of the Express® Gen2 platform and the growing demand for AI‑driven screening solutions in high‑traffic venues.
John Kedzierski, President and CEO, said the company “continues to deliver advanced weapons screening capabilities at scale for more than 1,200 customers worldwide through a tightly integrated platform that combines proprietary hardware, real‑world visitor data sets, and AI‑driven software, delivered via long‑term subscriptions that foster durable customer relationships and high‑quality recurring revenue.”
Analysts view the UW deal as a positive step toward expanding Evolv’s recurring revenue base, aligning with the company’s broader strategy to grow its subscription business and strengthen its position in the collegiate sports market.
